Boat Cruises, Sailing & Charter Fishing
from Collingwood Harbour
Enjoy an outing on the water in and around the Collingwood Harbour.
Savor
a BBQ or a sunset cruise, and swim in the shadow of the Nottawasaga
lighthouse. Or sail on the “Endurable” a replica of a Watt’s skiff
formerly built in Collingwood and used around the Great Lakes and the
west coast during the late 1800’s.
Collingwood
tours specializes in personal tours of the town of Collingwood and Blue
Mountains area. Your guide will be a storey teller and historian with
intimate knowledge of this area. Southern Georgian bay has a rich
history related to ship building, Petun Indians and connections to the
Underground railway for Black slaves escaping to Canada. Groups can
create their own unique personalized tour. Each tour group is small and
intimate and never larger than 14. Groups can also charter our 14
passenger bus for their own excursion to other destinations and is
available as an airport shuttle for 1 or more passengers.
Cruise
the historic waters of the Collingwood Harbour, where Royal Canadian
Navy corvettes and lake freighters were built and launched for duty
around the globe. Fly fish on the Rocky Saugeen river, a 100-year-old tradition, or go after salmon in the clear waters of Georgian Bay.
For
land lubbers we offer packages for guided hiking tours, biking,
mountain biking or trail riding. Increase your heart rate with an
ecoadventure tour suspended at the tree tops or try your hand at rock
climbing or caving. Eat buttered pop corn
and roast marshmallows or hot dogs over an open fire while singing
songs with the help of musician at the great Canadian corn roast.
We
thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the stay. If you wish to use any of the
pics for your website just let us know so we can see them. Bill and Inge
