Whether you crave an adrenaline-filled day on the slopes or a relaxing
stroll through a welcoming Village, Blue Mountain is the place to be
this winter. Over its 65-year tradition of fun, Blue has evolved into
Ontario’s premiere four-season playground. This winter, be a part of
it! Ontario’s favourite winter wonderland features thirty-four trails,
ranging from beginner to double black diamond, stretching across the
scenic Niagara Escarpment, and reaching 720 vertical feet. You’ll
maximize your on-snow time with 13 lifts, including four high-speed
six-person chairs. And there’s plenty of action after the sun sets,
with 22 trails and 10 lifts under the lights.
Blue Mountain is Ontario's Largest Mountain Resort. In the heart of
the Georgian Triangle, nestled between the shores of Georgian Bay and
the heights of the Niagara Escarpment, sits Ontario’s premiere
four-season playground, Blue Mountain Resort. Known for years as the
province’s top ski and snowboard destination, Blue Mountain features a
vertical of 720 feet, or 220 metres, with 34 trails ranging from
beginner slopes to double black diamond steeps
Make The Most of Your Winter
Blue Mountain Resort is open seven days a week for skiing and
snowboarding from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Night skiing/snowboarding is
open from 4:30pm till 10:00pm. Our hours of operation do change in the
event of extreme weather, please check our detailed conditions for any
changes to operating hours.

The Georgian Peaks Club is a private
club that operates on a year round basis. It boasts the highest,
longest, most challenging terrain in Ontario.

A private club with a philosophy of :
excellent skiing, uncrowded slopes, great skiing and a warm relaxed
atmosphere for one and all.
Bruce Trail Association
A non-profit organization dedicated to
the development and maintenance of over 800 kilometers of main trails
and an additional 200km of side trails along the Niagara Escarpment
between Niagara Falls, Ontario (Queenston Heights) and Tobermory,
Ontario (Little Tub Harbour).

Skiing
The Georgian Trail
Trails: 32 kms along the abandoned rail line from Collingwood to
Meaford. Passing through scenic areas with access to accommodation,
dining and retail along the way. Access points at cross roads along
Hwy 26, or start in Meaford, Thornbury, Craigleith or Collingwood.
Highlands Nordic
Address: Box 110, R.R. #1, Duntroon, L0M 1H0 Tel: (705) 444-5017. Open
Daily.
Trails: Suitable for the recreational skier as well as the skating
enthusiast. Facilities & Service; Club House, snack bar, rental
service, pro shop, race facilities, ski school, jack rabbit program.
1/2 miles Southwest of Duntroon on the 10th line.
Kolapore Uplands Wilderness Ski
Hwy Access: Hwy 26 West of Collingwood on Grey Rd, 2 for 11.2 kms
Parking on the Left. Open Dawn to dusk daily.
Trails: 60 kms/45miles, 15 trails ranging from intermediate to
advanced. Numerous steep climbs and difficult downhill runs. Caution:
Because of the extreme trail system, skiers are advised to purchase a
map of the area before starting out. Maps are available at the
Georgian Triangle Tourist Association and the Ravenna General Store.
The Loree Forest
Hwy Access: Hwy 26 west of Collingwood, Left of Grey Rd. #4, left
on Concession 7, first left on Concession 21. Continue 3 to 4 miles,
watch for unused road allowance on left, which is the entrance trail.
Open dawn to dusk daily. Located in the Grey County Forest area atop
the Georgian Peaks ski area, Loree is one of the most beautiful
cross-country areas in the Georgian Triangle. Use at own risk.

Cross Country Ski
Scenic Caves Nature Adventures, Ontario, boasts 22 kilometers of
groomed beginner
and intermediate cross country ski and snowshoe trails winding through
a
200 year old forest rich with wildlife. Winter owls and a wide variety
of
other birds will beckon to you from the 100 feet maple; beech and oak
canopy
while deer and many other animals can be seen in the forest.
A warm-up hut and future log cabin located in the forest offer a place
to pause and enjoy the beauty.

Snowshoe Across the Longest Suspension Bridge in Ontario- Do You Dare?
You step slowly onto the platform and grip the handrail tightly,
as you begin your snowshoe trek across Ontario 's longest suspension f
ootbridge. Through the trees, you catch a glimpse of the valley floor
beneath,
but it seems you're suspended even higher in the air.
Far below and spread before you lies 10,000-square-kms view.
With a sturdy wire fence lining the walkway, even the smallest
